What they need
About us
ResOrgs (Resilient Organisations) are a small, friendly New Zealand professional services team based in Christchurch CBD specialising in risk and resilience research, consulting and training. We design and deliver emergency management leadership, management and CIMS-aligned courses that help organisations and communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from disruption, as part of RRANZ – Response and Recovery Aotearoa New Zealand.
About the role
We're looking for a Training Coordinator to join us in a job-share arrangement, working 30 hours per week over 5 days. You'll work closely with a co-Coordinator to keep our training programmes running smoothly from enrolment through to evaluation - this is a hands-on, varied role at the centre of everything we deliver.
Day to day, you'll:
- Set up courses, manage course enrolments, and maintain accurate participant records, including grades, in Arlo training management system.
- Send timely and professional communications to participants before, during, and after training events.
- Coordinate facilitator availability and travel bookings, venues, catering, equipment, and virtual session set-up (Zoom/Teams) for training events.
- Prepare and maintain participant materials, workbooks, and resource packs.
- Collate participant evaluations and reporting for the delivery team.
- Work in close partnership with your job-share co-Coordinator to ensure a seamless, consistent service.
About you
You'll thrive in this role if you have:
- Experience in course, event or training administration, managing multiple courses and events simultaneously.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Warm, clear, professional communication with a wide range of people.
- A collaborative approach - you're comfortable sharing ownership of a role with a job-share partner.
- Experience working with a Learning Management System or similar online platform (familiarity with Totara and/or Arlo is a bonus).
What's on offer
- A friendly, supportive small team where your contribution is genuinely valued
- Flexible working arrangements
- A Christchurch CBD base
- Permanent role, 30 hours a week over 5 days
- $70,000–$80,000 FTE, pro rata (approx. $52,500–$60,000 actual for 30 hours per week)
- A wellbeing allowance
- 5 weeks' annual leave
