Training Manager (APED)

Responsibilities:

• To develop and implement strategy, operational plans and budgets for APED’s training services in line with the Society’s vision, mission and values
• To develop strategic planning and ensure growth of the APED
• To design and deliver new courses in response to market needs
• To identify and develop resources to grow and support excellence of the APED
• To assist with the preparation of bidding proposals
• To coordinate the development of annual training plan including the schedule, description of projects, curriculum and trainers
• To assist with the planning and development of the in-service training
• To coordinate and organize seminars and conferences, including the promotion, enrolment and on-site logistics
• To undertake a leadership role in developing the reputation of APED

Requirements:

• University Graduate or equivalent
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a non-profit organization or training institute setting
• Possess a good understanding of training need assessment, instructional design, content development, training delivery and evaluation of training effectiveness
• Ability to adapt to new challenges and changing priorities with a passion for improvements and problem solving
• Analytical with excellent critical thinking skills and a strategic mindset
• Ability to independently and simultaneously manage complex and multiple responsibilities and priorities
• Experience demonstrating strong attention to detail and excellent organization with good management and interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
• Proficient in MS Office applications
