Training Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Training Manager to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.

This role will lead and develop a team of clinical and coding trainers, with a strong focus on building capability across healthcare-related training programs. The Training Manager will partner closely with business leaders and client stakeholders to ensure training delivery is aligned with organizational goals, onboarding needs, and service expectations. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of people leadership, learning strategy, and operational execution experience in a healthcare environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of clinical and coding trainers while promoting continuous improvement
• Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback to foster team success
• Oversee trainer performance and execution against business goals and training deliverables
• Develop and execute training strategies that support onboarding and long-term capability building
• Ensure training programs are relevant and aligned with business needs and client expectations
• Conduct training needs assessments and identify capability gaps
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness using metrics and learner feedback

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in training or learning and development within healthcare, including nursing and/or medical coding
• Proven experience leading and developing trainers, including nurses and certified coders
• Certification in training or learning and development strongly preferred
• Background in nursing, medical coding, or healthcare operations strongly preferred
