Training Manager

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive retail training programs for new hires, ongoing employee development, and management training
• Deliver training sessions in-store
• Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements to programs, materials, and delivery methods
• Collaborate with Retail Operations and HR teams to align training programs with business goals and brand standards
• Maintain and update training materials, manuals, and e-learning modules to ensure they reflect the latest product knowledge, sales techniques, and brand messaging
• Monitor staff performance post-training and provide coaching or refresher programs as needed
• Support onboarding of new stores and staff during store openings and relocations
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and competitor activities to enhance training initiatives

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in retail training, learning and development, or a similar role, preferably in sportswear or fashion retail
• Strong knowledge of retail operations, sales processes, and customer service excellence
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
• Ability to motivate, inspire, and coach employees at all levels
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
