Training Officer

A Housekeeping Trainer (On-Site) is responsible for training, upskilling, and supervising housekeeping staff directly at the workplace—whether in hotels, corporate offices, hospitals, construction site camps, or commercial facilities. They bridge the gap between facility standards and daily operational execution.

Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Training & Onboarding

• New Hire Orientation: Conduct initial training for fresh recruits covering company standards, hygiene protocols, and safety policies.
• On-the-Job Coaching: Walk staff through live practical tasks, including bed-making, deep cleaning, chemical dilution, floor care, and waste segregation.
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Develop and implement standardized daily cleaning checklists for guest rooms, washrooms, public areas, and office floors.

2. Technical & Safety Compliance

• Chemical & Equipment Handling: Train staff on safe chemical usage (e.g., dilution ratios, Safety Data Sheets) and the proper operation of machinery like scrubbers, vacuums, and steam cleaners.
• PPE & Safety Standards: Ensure strict adherence to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) mandates and ergonomic posture during physical tasks.
• Infection Control & Hygiene: Maintain specialized sanitation protocols for healthcare environments or high-touch commercial zones.

3. Quality Assurance & Audits

• On-Site Inspections: Conduct routine spot-checks across work areas to audit cleanliness levels and evaluate individual performance.
• Refresher Modules: Identify performance gaps and run targeted retraining sessions for staff needing improvement.

4. Behavioral & Soft Skills Development

• Grooming & Hygiene: Enforce personal grooming standards, uniform wear, and punctuality.
• Soft Skills Training: Instruct staff on professional body language, guest interaction, handling complaints, and workplace etiquette.

Requirement Description Education & Experience / Core Skills.

Degree/ Diploma in Hotel Management/Facility Management;

Typically requires 2–5 years of hands-on housekeeping experience or Fresher also Invited.

Technical Expertise : Mastery of cleaning chemicals, floor care, machinery operations, and waste disposal protocols.

Communication : Ability to deliver practical demonstrations in local languages understood by ground staff.

Leadership : Strong interpersonal skills to mentor, motivate, and manage floor staff effectively.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
