Training Officer

Hong Kong Education City Limited (EdCity) is a wholly-owned company of the Government of HKSAR. Our portal, EdCity.hk, is a one-stop professional educational portal in Hong Kong which incorporates information, resources, interactive communities and online services, and promotes the use of information technology (I.T.) in improving the effectiveness of teaching and learning. We are now looking for a high caliber professional to join our dynamic team in the following position.

Responsibilities

• Deliver online and offline training sessions, facilitate workshops, and connect with the Educator Community;
• Plan, organise and evaluate training activities under the AI Literacy Programme, including preparing materials, managing logistics, and evaluating effectiveness;
• Support the development and regular update of AI literacy training content, ensuring alignment with global and local AI competency frameworks;
• Collect, compile and analyse feedback (e.g. focus groups, questionnaires) using Excel or data analysis tools, and prepare training reports; Support the Educator Community by facilitating sharing sessions and peer observation activities;
• Assist in the implementation of the training related programmes;
• Take up ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in any discipline, preferably in Education, AI, Training, or related fields;
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in training, teaching, or educational programme delivery;
• Experience in developing or delivering e-learning content (e.g. training videos, filming and editing) will be an advantage;
• Familiarity with AI literacy frameworks and experience in digital education/EdTech is preferred;
• Proficiency in Excel or basic data analysis tools for compiling and presenting training data is an advantage;
• Proactive, attentive to details, responsible, a good team player with excellent communication skills;
• Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Training Officer.
