Training Program Development and Delivery Specialist

Job Purpose

To partake in the development of end-to-end training and delivery activities including but not limited to training curriculum, new product training, training programs and materials, training administrative support, and soft-skill training delivered as well as to manage team activities for the effective training program delivery to ABA employees.

Major Areas of Responsibility

• Conduct and deliver Soft-skill Training, General Induction Program (GIP) and Refresher Training for new and existing employees & management.
• Ensure training materials are relevant to courses undertaken by employee and fully comply with ABA Bank policies and procedures.
• Provide high-level administrative support for the day-to-day operation of training services including financial management, supplier control, and scheduling team members’ appointments.
• Receive, register, and process applications for training courses by preparing and notifying applicants in writing/email to advise them of the results of their applications and the detail of the training programs.
• Coordinate and organize training programs including booking internal subject matter experts and external trainers, scheduling training programs in consultation with trainers.
• Organize the scheduling of training venues for both internal & external venues and catering services.
• Process the payments of registration fees, venue hire, catering fees with the Accounting Department.
• Partake in the designation and review of training courses and materials in accordance with business needs and/or functional team requests.
• Involve in the development of interesting and engaging methods for training delivery to employee.
• Work collaboratively and co-operatively with cross-functional subject matter expert regarding instructional designs in order to provide support to employees in line with ABA goals and values.
• Properly maintain training record system such as Training Registration and Database.
• Consolidate and prepare monthly training calendar, monthly/weekly training reports for management.
• Ensure the report of pre-post training discussion with employees is obtained and its outline areas of learning and recommendations for the organization to consider.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in education, training, and development and/or related fields.
• Hands-on experience of designing creative and innovative training materials, delivering soft skill trainings and/or developing training curriculum is advantage.
• Well-developed oral and written communication, consultation, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Sound planning organizational and supervisory skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Ability and passion to grow others with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to communicate and maintain strong relationship with multiple stakeholders.
• Functional level of English literacy and competency in documentation.
• Proficient Microsoft Office (Office 365, Excel, Outlook express as such).
