Training Specialist

Role: SPD Training Specialist

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver orientation, ongoing training, and skills assessments for Sterile Processing Department staff.
• Ensure safe and accurate instrument reprocessing aligned with AAMI, AORN, and hospital standards.
• Partner with SPD leaders and perioperative teams to identify learning needs and update training curricula.
• Support the integration of new technologies and promote best practices to reduce risk and enhance patient safety.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in training or education within a sterile processing or healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of sterilization standards and protocols.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and instructional skills.
• Ability to adapt training programs to evolving technologies and procedures.
