Training Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Training Specialist to deliver instructor-led, role-based training to case workers for the rollout of the new Case Management System.In this role, you will be responsible for mastering the system's functionality and translating that knowledge into effective, hands-on training for system users

RESPONSIBILITIES

• System Mastery & Preparation: Participate in a mandatory 10day "TraintheTrainer" (TTT) program to learn software functionality, detailed workflows, and handson exercises
• Curriculum Review: Engage in practice teaching sessions and comprehensive reviews of PowerPoint presentations and training materials.
• Instructional Delivery: Lead comprehensive software training classes for up to 25 individuals per session.
• Topic Coverage: Provide clear instruction on critical system functions, including access, basic navigation, viewing client information, program enrollment, and outcome tracking (activities, goals, and eligibility)
• Hybrid Training Operations: Deliver training in both virtual environments and conduct at least three intensive inperson training days at a designated facility in the District of Columbia

QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated experience as a technical or software Training Specialist, specifically delivering instructorled training to adult learners.
• Ability to rapidly learn complex case management software and translate technical workflows into accessible, userfriendly concepts.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to manage classroom dynamics for classes of up to 25 participants.
• Experience coordinating closely with government agency stakeholders.
• Flexibility to teach in both remote (virtual) and onsite environments in Washington, D.C.
