What they need

Yalagan Registered Training is seeking an organised, proactive and people-focused Training Coordinator to support the day-to-day delivery of our Australian Government-funded Launch into Work pre-employment program.

The role will work closely with our Project Coordinator, Program Manager, trainers, mentors and participants to keep the program organised, ensure documentation is maintained and provide practical support to participants throughout their training and transition towards employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the daily coordination of training and program activities.
  • Maintain participant attendance, records and required documentation.
  • Follow up participants before and after training and assist with appointments and reminders.
  • Help participants stay engaged, prepared and on track throughout the program.
  • Coordinate training materials, PPE, equipment and other program resources.
  • Assist trainers and mentors with day-to-day administration.
  • Support participant compliance requirements and maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate schedules, interviews, site visits and other program activities.
  • Liaise with employers, training partners and other stakeholders when required.
  • Maintain project files and evidence to support government compliance and reporting.
  • Identify participant issues or risks and escalate them to the Program Manager.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the project team.

About You

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, reliable and comfortable working directly with people. You will need strong communication and follow-up skills and be able to build rapport with participants from different backgrounds while maintaining professional boundaries and accurate documentation.

Experience in training, RTO administration, employment services, recruitment, community services, project administration or participant support would be highly regarded.

Formal qualifications are not essential where the candidate can demonstrate relevant experience and the ability to communicate, engage with participants, manage administration and support effective program delivery.

What Success Looks Like

The right person will help us ensure participants turn up, stay engaged, complete their requirements and receive the support they need, while making sure the project team has accurate and up-to-date documentation for compliance and DEWR reporting.

Potential pathway: This is initially a short-term project role, with the potential for ongoing or full-time employment for a successful candidate as Yalagan's employment and training programs expand.

Pay: From $1,200.00 per week
