Role Description This is a full-time Trainee Driving Instructor role based on-site in Greater Dublin. The trainee will assist in delivering practical driving lessons, supporting learners in developing safe driving habits, and preparing them for driving tests under supervision from experienced instructors. Daily tasks include shadowing qualified instructors, learning lesson planning and road safety regulations, providing clear guidance to learners, and maintaining accurate records of lessons and progress. The role also involves attending internal training sessions, following standardized teaching methods, and ensuring vehicles are kept in a clean, safe, and roadworthy condition. As skills develop, the trainee will gradually take on more responsibility for independent instruction while maintaining high standards of customer service and learner care.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to explain driving concepts clearly and support learners of varied experience levels.
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and focused in busy traffic conditions and when learners make mistakes.
• Good observational skills and attention to detail for monitoring learner performance and road conditions.
• Commitment to road safety, compliance with traffic laws, and professional conduct at all times.
• Basic organizational and time management skills to manage lesson schedules and documentation.
• Clean, valid driving license with a solid personal driving record; eligibility to undertake driving instructor training in Ireland.
• Willingness to complete formal driving instructor training and assessments as required by regulatory authorities.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if needed.
• Previous customer service or teaching/tutoring experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
