Transfer Agent

For one of our clients, an international Management Company , LES CONSULTANTS is currently looking for an experienced Transfer Agent Officer for a consulting assignment based in Luxembourg.

The consultant will support the team with AML/KYC activities related to investors and Transfer Agency operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform AML/KYC reviews on investors, including individuals and legal entities.
• Conduct investor onboarding and review KYC documentation.
• Identify and verify Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) and ownership structures.
• Perform risk assessments and investor risk classifications.
• Conduct periodic and event-driven KYC reviews .
• Perform relevant sanctions, PEP and adverse media screenings .
• Review complex corporate structures and escalate higher-risk cases when required.
• Ensure investor files are complete and compliant with applicable AML/CFT requirements and internal procedures.
• Follow up on missing or outdated documentation.
• Liaise with internal teams, Transfer Agents and other relevant stakeholders.
• Support remediation exercises and AML/KYC projects where required.

Your Profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in AML/KYC within a Transfer Agency environment .
• Strong knowledge of investor AML/KYC and onboarding processes .
• Experience within the Luxembourg investment fund industry, ideally with a ManCo, AIFM, Transfer Agent or Fund Administrator .
• Good understanding of Luxembourg AML/CFT regulatory requirements .
• Ability to analyse complex investor and ownership structures.
• Strong level of English is required , as the Management Company is headquartered in the UK.
• Ability to work autonomously and efficiently in an international environment.
• Available immediately or at short notice.
