Transformer Production Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure quality standards are met by conducting regular inspections and testing of transformers.
• Coordinate transformer manufacturing activities from core assembly to final assembly.
• Monitor manpower, material availability, machine utilization and production progress.
• Monitor winding operations for power, distribution and furnace transformers.
• Supervise tanking, fitting, oil filling and other assembly operations as applicable.
• Coordinate with fabrication, design, stores and testing departments.
• Ensure manufacturing activities comply with approved drawings, specifications and applicable IS/IEC standards.
• Practical knowledge of transformer manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of transformer drawings, winding data, insulation materials and assembly procedures
• Ability to coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, Quality and Testing departments.
