Translator

About the Opportunity

We are currently looking to connect with a skilled and reliable professional translator who may be a strong fit for an upcoming Tourism translation project.

We have six English Tourism brochures that require translation into one of the following languages:

• Korean
• Japanese
• Traditional Chinese
• Simplified Chinese

We are currently reviewing potential translators separately for each language and are especially interested in finding someone who can combine linguistic accuracy with a natural understanding of tourism, marketing and promotional communication .

What We are Looking For

The ideal translator would have experience with one or more of the following:

⭐ Tourism or travel content

🎓 Professional translation qualifications or relevant credentials

🧳 Marketing, promotional or destination-focused materials

🗺️ Cultural and location-specific terminology

⏱️ Reliable turnaround times and clear communication

💬 Working with reference materials, terminology and previous translation feedback

Because these brochures are visitor-facing materials, we are looking for more than a direct word-for-word translation. We want the final content to feel natural, clear, culturally appropriate and aligned with the intended audience .

Project Scope

The project involves translating English Tourism brochure content into the relevant target language and working with existing source materials and reference documents.

Maintaining consistency across:

• Tourism terminology
• Place names
• Attraction names
• Tone of voice
• Promotional language
• Previously approved corrections and feedback
