TRANSLATOR

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Chinese Language, Linguistics, Communication, or a

related field.

• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin) spoken.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience as a Translator/Interpreter, preferably in a

construction or engineering environment.

• Experience working with a Chinese construction company is highly preferred.
• Experienced in English–Chinese and Chinese–English translation and interpretation

for meetings, site coordination, documents, and daily communication.

• Able to translate technical, construction, engineering, safety, and administrative

documents accurately; experience in technical translation is an advantage.

• Familiar with construction terms, engineering terminology, and project-related

vocabulary is an advantage.

• Able to assist in communication between Chinese management, engineers, workers,

subcontractors, and local personnel.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
