Translator

ILF Consulting Engineers is seeking a skilled Translator to provide accurate and high-quality Arabic-English translation services across a broad range of technical, engineering, commercial, contractual, and corporate documentation. The role is responsible for ensuring linguistic accuracy, consistency, and cultural appropriateness while preserving the intent, meaning, and technical integrity of the source material. The successful candidate will support multidisciplinary infrastructure, water, energy, industrial, and engineering consultancy projects, working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver professional translations in a dynamic project environment.

Application Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, Communications, or a related field.

• Minimum 2-3 years of professional translation experience in a corporate, engineering consultancy, construction, infrastructure, energy, or related technical environment.

• Native or near-native fluency in both Arabic and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven experience translating and proofreading technical reports, engineering documents, contracts, tenders, proposals, policies, business correspondence, and corporate communications.

• Excellent command of grammar, terminology, syntax, and writing conventions in both languages.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy and consistency across complex and technically demanding documents.

• Experience using CAT tools, translation software, terminology databases, and proofreading tools.

• Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.

• Strong understanding of cultural nuances and localization requirements for business and technical content.

• Experience supporting infrastructure, water, energy, industrial, construction, or engineering consultancy projects within Saudi Arabia or the GCC is highly desirable.
