Key responsibilities
- Translate books and content from English to Malay accurately and naturally
- Edit and proofread Malay content for grammar, clarity, tone and flow
- Ensure translations are culturally appropriate and easy to read
- Fact-check content and maintain consistency in terminology and style
- Work with writers and editors to meet publishing deadlines
About you
- ITBM-certified translator preferred
- At least 2 years of translation/editing experience, preferably in publishing
- Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Strong editing, writing and proofreading skills
- Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
