Position Title: Transmission calibration Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for experienced Transmission calibration Engineer, capable of leading and technically developing and validate a project assigned, who will be assigned to the following responsibilities

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for end-to-end calibration, validation, and testing of AMT/DCT?AT software, transmission control functions, and vehicle-level drivability performance
2. Define and execute calibration plans for gear shift quality, clutch control, launch behavior, drivability, fuel economy, diagnostics, and functional safety validation.
3. Perform software calibration, CAN database checks, diagnostic validation, and data analysis during project development phases.
4. Support vehicle-level calibration across different road, load, altitude, temperature, and operating conditions to achieve performance targets.
5. Analyze test results, identify calibration gaps or defects, create JIRA tickets, and track issues until closure.
6. Validate customer-reported concerns and support root-cause analysis with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Ensure testing and validation activities comply with Client standards, methodologies, and quality processes.
8. Collaborate with application, software, function design, and vehicle teams to improve AMT system robustness and shift performance.
9. Hands-on experience with calibration tools, diagnostics validation, CAN tools, EOBD testing, DTC verification, and functional safety validation.
10. Support customer interaction, problem resolution, industrialization activities, and on-site calibration/development testing.
11. Apply statistical analysis and data-driven methods to improve calibration maturity, validation coverage, and system reliability.
12. Submit calibration/validation reports and create methodologies for AMT system calibration and validation

Authority:

Minimum Educational Qualification Required:

• Degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering, with a preference for an M.Tech in Automotive Engineering.

Minimum Experience Required:

• 5-8 years.
• Interactions- Internal/ External.
• Candidate should engage with both Client 's local and global teams and customers.
• Travelling - Frequently/ Not at All/ Rarely- Accordance with the project's requirements during its development phase
