Transmission & Interconnection Manager

We're partnering with a leading renewable energy developer seeking an experienced Transmission & Interconnection Manager to support a growing portfolio of utility-scale generation projects. This position will focus heavily on generator interconnection execution across multiple ISO/RTOs working closely with utilities, transmission owners, and internal development teams to advance projects through the interconnection process.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage generator interconnection projects from initial applications through GIA execution and commercial operation.
• Oversee interconnection queues, study milestones, project schedules, and associated costs.
• Coordinate with ISOs/RTOs, transmission owners, and engineering teams to resolve interconnection challenges.
• Support interconnection agreement negotiations, network upgrade assessments, and project development strategies.

Ideal Background

• 4+ years of experience in the power and energy industry, preferably with a developer, IPP, utility, or consultancy.
• Strong interconnection experience within SPP, MISO, ERCOT, PJM, WECC, or CAISO
• Experience managing utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or other generation projects.
• Understanding of transmission planning, interconnection studies, and GIA/LGIA processes.
• Familiarity with PSSE, TARA, or PSLF is advantageous.
