Location: Enfield, CT - Transmissions Production Facility

Status: Full-Time, Hourly

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30AM - 4:30PM

Pay Range: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

We are looking for a motivated Transmission Rebuilder Apprentice to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in the transmission remanufacturing industry. You will work alongside experienced professionals and learn the hands-on skills needed to inspect, disassemble, clean, rebuild, and reassemble transmissions and related components.

Position Responsibilities

The following duties are intended to describe the primary responsibilities of this position and are not intended to be an all-inclusive list. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

• Assist in, disassembling, cleaning, and rebuilding transmissions
• Learn proper inspection and measuring techniques for parts and components
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow shop procedures and quality standards (ISO 9001 compliant)
• Support senior rebuilders and technicians with daily tasks
• Handle tools, parts, and equipment carefully and responsibly

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable attendance and positive attitude
• Ability to lift parts and work on your feet
• Basic automotive knowledge is a plus, but not required
