About IMCO Marine

IMCO Marine designs and manufactures high-performance marine parts in San Dimas, including exhaust systems, outdrives, and fuel tanks. Our products run on some of the fastest boats on the water, and we're known for precision and quality. We're a small, hands-on shop, and we're looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career with us.

About the Role

We're hiring a full-time Outdrive Technician to tear down, rebuild, and set up performance outdrives. This is precision mechanical work: gear setup, shimming, and some machining. Getting the details right matters.

Marine experience is not required. If you're mechanically inclined, careful, and reliable, we'll train you on our drives. Experienced outdrive techs are of course welcome too, and pay reflects experience.

What You'll Do

• Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild high-performance outdrives
• Perform gear setup, including pinion depth, backlash, and shimming to spec
• Measure and verify tolerances using precision measuring tools
• Perform light machining as needed
• Diagnose wear and failures and document findings
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
• Work with the team to get rebuilds out on time and done right the first time

What We're Looking For

• Strong mechanical aptitude, with a background in auto, motorcycle, powersports, small engine, diesel, or machine shop work being a plus
• Comfortable with precision measuring tools such as micrometers and dial indicators, or a strong desire to learn
• Attention to detail and pride in quality work
• Reliable, on time, every day
• Looking for long-term, stable employment
• Lives within a reasonable commute of San Dimas
• Marine or outdrive experience is a plus but not required

Pay: $33.00 - $40.00 per hour
