Dowling Ford is growing, and we are looking for a high-level Transmission Technician who knows how to diagnose, repair and rebuild transmissions — and wants to be paid accordingly.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for an experienced technician who can step in, take ownership of transmission work, and become an important part of a busy, growing Ford service operation.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You should be comfortable with:

• Transmission diagnosis and troubleshooting
• Automatic transmission repair and overhaul
• Transmission removal and installation
• Electrical and drivability diagnosis related to transmission concerns
• Using factory scan tools and diagnostic equipment
• Handling complex repairs efficiently and correctly

Ford transmission experience is strongly preferred, but we will absolutely consider an accomplished transmission technician from another manufacturer or independent shop.

Ford certifications are a plus, but proven ability matters most.
