Transport Administrator

Key ResponsibilitiesTrip Coordination & Fleet Operations

• Schedule and coordinate daily vehicle trips, dispatches, and routes based on operational demands.
• Monitor live vehicle locations using GPS tracking systems to ensure on-time arrivals and route compliance.
• Assign drivers to specific vehicles and trips while maintaining balanced shift rotations and compliance with labor regulations.
• Serve as the main point of contact for drivers during transit, providing real-time assistance during delays, accidents, or route changes.
• Maintain accurate digital and physical logs of all trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, toll expenses, and delivery timelines.

Vehicle Maintenance & Safety

• Develop, implement, and track a strict preventive maintenance schedule for all fleet vehicles (oil changes, tire rotations, brake checks, etc.).
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips to identify mechanical defects, damages, or cleanliness issues.
• Coordinate and oversee emergency repairs, breakdown recoveries, and routine servicing with internal mechanics or external workshops.
• Manage vehicle documentation, ensuring all registrations, fitness certificates, emissions tests, and insurance policies are updated and valid.
• Source, inventory, and manage spare parts and workshop tools to minimize repair delays.

Driver Management & Compliance

• Conduct routine briefings with drivers regarding safety protocols, defensive driving techniques, and fuel efficiency.
• Verify that all drivers possess valid and appropriate commercial driving licenses and certifications.
• Audit driver logbooks and trip sheets to ensure compliance with transport laws and internal company policies.

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
