Transport Coordinator

Coordinate and follow up on import and export transport activities.

• Organize and monitor shipments in accordance with customer and company requirements.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, transport providers, customs brokers, suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
• Prepare, verify, and follow up on transport and shipping documentation.
• Monitor shipment status, delivery schedules, and transport performance.
• Ensure the timely availability of materials and products according to production and customer requirements.
• Follow up on customs clearance and resolve transport or documentation issues.
• Communicate proactively with relevant stakeholders regarding delays, deviations, and urgent shipments.
• Coordinate with Logistics, Purchasing, Production, Finance, and Customer Management.
• Monitor transport costs and support the optimization of logistics activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and applicable import/export regulations.
• Maintain accurate transport records and update the relevant ERP systems.
• Prepare transport performance reports and follow-up indicators.
• Identify transport risks and escalate critical issues in a timely manner.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport, International Trade, or a related field.
• Previous experience in transport coordination, import/export, or international logistics is required .
• Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of international transport and import/export documentation.
• Knowledge of customs procedures and regulations in Morocco.
• Good command of MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with SAP or another ERP system is an advantage.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Fluent in French and English.
