Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and professional Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in various driving roles, including passenger transport and delivery services. As a Transport Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating different types of vehicles, adhering to traffic regulations, and delivering excellent customer service while ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of vehicles such as vans, buses, limousines, and passenger vans to transport clients or goods efficiently.
• Follow scheduled routes and adapt to changing traffic conditions using GPS navigation systems.
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo or passengers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to identify maintenance needs.
• Communicate effectively with clients, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
• Adhere strictly to local, state, and federal transportation regulations, including safety standards for passenger vehicles and medical transportation.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, alighting, and addressing any special needs or inquiries.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, shuttle driver, chauffeur, or in similar transportation roles.
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., commercial license for buses or limousines).
• Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and local driving routes.
• Knowledge of traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and safety protocols for passenger vehicles.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clients.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently.
• Demonstrated reliability with a clean driving record and punctuality.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
