Job Overview

Care Ride Transportation LLC is seeking a reliable, professional, and responsible Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver in the Charlestown and New Middletown, Indiana area.

The driver will provide safe, comfortable, and timely transportation to patients traveling to and from medical appointments.

Job Details:

• Pay: $150–$200 per day, based on qualifications and experience
• Schedule: Monday–Saturday, approximately 8 hours per day
• Job Type: Full-time
• Location: Charlestown / New Middletown, Indiana
• Company Vehicle Provided: No personal vehicle required
• Fuel: 100% paid by the company for authorized work trips
• Commercial Auto Insurance: Provided and paid by the company for approved drivers and authorized business use
• Vehicle Maintenance: Paid by the company
• Overtime: Paid as required by applicable law

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments.
• Arrive on time for scheduled pickups and drop-offs.
• Assist passengers when entering and exiting the vehicle, as needed and within training.
• Follow assigned routes and dispatch instructions.
• Communicate professionally with patients and company management.
• Maintain a clean and safe company vehicle.
• Perform basic daily vehicle safety inspections.
• Complete trip documentation accurately.
• Follow all traffic laws and NEMT safety requirements.
• Report vehicle problems, delays, or incidents promptly.
• Treat every passenger with patience, dignity, and respect.

Experience

Required Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to use GPS navigation and smartphone applications.
• Willingness to complete required NEMT and Verida training.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous NEMT or professional driving experience.
• Experience transporting elderly individuals or patients with mobility limitations.
• CPR, First Aid, or passenger assistance training.

No previous NEMT experience required. Training can be provided.
