Transport Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Manage daily employee transportation operations, including cab scheduling, route planning, and vehicle allocation.
• Coordinate with transport vendors, drivers, and internal teams to ensure smooth transportation services.
• Monitor vehicle movement, driver attendance, trip schedules, and vehicle availability.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of employees as per operational requirements.
• Track vehicle utilization, trip sheets, mileage, fuel consumption, and transportation expenses.
• Handle employee transportation requests, complaints, delays, and escalations.
• Verify vendor invoices, trip records, billing statements, and supporting documents before processing payments.
• Ensure vehicles are maintained in good condition and that all required documents, including insurance, permits, fitness certificates, and pollution certificates, are valid.
• Monitor driver performance, behaviour, safety practices, and adherence to company policies.
• Maintain transport MIS reports, daily trip reports, vendor performance reports, and monthly expense statements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable transport regulations and organizational safety standards.
• Support emergency transportation requirements and coordinate alternative arrangements during service disruptions.
• Identify opportunities to optimize routes, improve vehicle utilization, and reduce transportation costs.
• Coordinate with HR, Administration, Security, and facility management teams to address transport-related requirements.
