Transport Manager - GHANA

Role & responsibilities

To lead and manage the Transport Department, overseeing a fleet of 250+ vehicles across various brands, consisting of

commercial passenger vehicles.

Preferred candidate profile

• Maintenance of Light, Medium, and Heavy Commercial Vehicles

• Insurance claim processes for accident vehicles

• Transport cost-benefit analysis

• ERP systems and MS Office proficiency

• Fleet tracking systems and route optimization

• Lead and manage a large transport team, solve complex mechanical and logistical problems

• Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams

• Monitor departmental budgets and expenditures

• Maintain accurate vehicle and inventory records

• Hands-on technical expertise in engines, gearboxes, suspension, and electrical systems

• Strong communication, leadership, and motivational skills

• Planning and coordination of preventive maintenance

• Procurement and stock management of spare parts

• Conducting technical and safety training sessions
