Transport Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and coordinate daily transport operations
• Communicate transport details to drivers (loading/unloading, schedules, etc.)
• Monitor driver activity and vehicle locations
• Use our in-house Transport Management System to track and update transport progress
• Collaborate with colleagues across the UK and Europe to ensure smooth operations

Hours of work are 40 hours per week over 5 shifts Monday to Friday.

Weekly rotating shift pattern: Week “A” 06:00 to 14:00 Week “B” 14:00 to 22:00

What We’re Looking for:

• Previous office-based experience (transport/logistics essential)
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in IT systems and tools
• A professional telephone manner and a customer-focused approach
• Ability to multitask and work accurately under pressure
