  • Prepare calculations, models, reports, specifications, cost estimates, and construction documents
  • Develop alignments, profiles, signing, striping, traffic-control, signal, drainage, and accessibility improvements as assigned
  • Evaluate traffic operations, capacity, crash patterns, design alternatives, and performance measures
  • Coordinate with planners, surveyors, utility teams, environmental specialists, agencies, and contractors

  • Manage assigned scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client communication
  • Apply federal, state, and local design criteria and accessibility requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering from an accredited program
  • 5+ years of transportation engineering, roadway design, or traffic engineering experience
  • Proficiency with Civil 3D, MicroStation/OpenRoads, Synchro, HCS, Vissim, or comparable tools based on discipline

  • EIT required; Professional Engineer license preferred or the ability to obtain one
  • PTOE certification preferred for traffic-focused positions
  • Strong analytical, technical writing, coordination, and client communication skills
