Transportation Manager

Position: Transportation Manager (Frozen Food, Aquatic Animal Feed, and Seafood Industries)

Requirements

• Own a car and hold a valid driving licence.
• Able to communicate in English with the Malaysian hiring team.

Responsibilities

• Manage transportation planning and delivery operations for domestic and export markets.
• Oversee contractors, drivers, vendors, KPIs, and service performance.
• Coordinate closely with Sales, Farm, QC, and service providers.
• Control transportation costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with transportation, safety, licensing, and biosecurity requirements.
• Manage claims, incidents, disputes, and contractor performance.
• Oversee import/export documentation, permits, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop transportation systems and processes, and report performance to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Transportation Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics or transportation management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, including managing 3PL vendors and fleet operations (inbound and outbound).
• Proven experience managing deliveries to rural or remote areas, including coordination with small-scale farms and local stakeholders; experience in the aquaculture, agriculture, or perishable goods industry is highly preferred.
• Experience with claims, disputes, or liability assessment is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, route planning tools, ERP, and TMS systems is preferred.
• Candidates willing to relocate to Sichon, Nakhon Si Thammarat, will be provided with housing and telephone allowances.

Working Location: Work from home, with the ability to oversee operations in Sichon, Nakhon Si Thammarat, and Bang Pakong, Chachoengsao.
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Reports directly to the Malaysia hiring team, with 1 subordinate in Admin.
