Transportation Operations Associate

We are a Geauga County company looking for an exceptional individual to join our team that can handle the fast paced environment of a growing transportation services company. Excellent opportunity for someone interested in or experienced in the transportation industry. Must be very detail focused and highly accurate in all you do. Honesty, integrity and customer focused with the organizational skills to respond quickly and accurately. Must enjoy talking to customers ,carriers, and problem solving. Must be very proficient in Microsoft Office as it is used daily to communicate with customers and peers. Major responsibilities include: accepting customer orders, entering orders with 100% accuracy into our transportation system, following orders and completing them through the system daily. This person will also be calling current customers for new orders (inside sales) . Adding additional carriers to our portfolio and keeping current carriers active will be a priority in this position.

Requirements include being very customer focused, friendly and be able to communicate professionally in writing and verbally. Being confident in your abilities to gather detailed information. Must have at least 3 years experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel,. Organized and can manage data and emails with ease. College education in Accounting, Logistics and Distribution and Marketing a plus but not required. Customer service, accounting, transportation industry, or sales experience highly preferred but will train the right individual. This is an entry level dispatch associate position.
