Transportation Operations Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

1. Transportation Capacity & Dispatch Management

   • Responsible for arranging transportation capacity and daily dispatching for customer warehouse pickups, coordinating service providers, vehicles, and drivers to ensure pickup tasks are carried out smoothly.
   • Responsible for the sorting and outbound processing of bulky-item orders at self-operated warehouses, as well as delivery route arrangements, with proper allocation of vehicles and delivery resources.

2. Warehouse & Delivery Operations Management

   • Follow up on the end-to-end process from goods arrival at the warehouse, sorting and outbound processing to delivery; coordinate and resolve exceptions at each stage to ensure smooth business operations.
   • Arrange the daily dispatching of vehicles, drivers, and routes based on order and delivery requirements.

3. Service Provider & Customer Coordination

   • Responsible for daily communication and coordination with delivery service providers, fleets, and drivers, and follow up on task execution and exception handling.
   • Coordinate with customers regarding the delivery progress of bulky-item B2C orders, follow up on delivery appointments, delivery, proof of delivery, and other fulfillment activities, and promptly coordinate the resolution of any exceptions.

4. Operations Data & Issue Follow-up

   • Responsible for compiling daily data related to orders, pickups, outbound processing, and deliveries, and following up on business execution.
   • Respond promptly to operational exceptions, coordinate with relevant parties to resolve issues, and follow through until closure.

Qualifications

1. Diploma or above, with no specific major required. Majors in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related fields are preferred. Relevant experience in logistics, transportation, delivery, customer service, or operations coordination is required. Experience in onsite operations, logistics projects, or fleet management is preferred.
2. Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to effectively facilitate information flow and work coordination among customers, drivers, and fleets.
3. Strong sense of responsibility and problem-solving ability, with the ability to respond promptly to customer feedback and continuously follow up until issues are resolved.
4. Basic proficiency in Excel and office software, with the ability to perform simple data compilation, organization, and reporting tasks.
5. Basic business communication skills sufficient to meet the requirements of daily workplace communication in Singapore.
6. Detail-oriented, with strong execution skills and a good service and customer-oriented mindset.
