Transportation Operations Manager

Nu-Way Transportation is currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized Transportation Operations Manager to join our team based in Bossier City La. This position will oversee a fleet operation of 20-30 Class A CDL drivers.

Pay:

• 65-75K based on Experience and Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Promote and manage the required high level of safety performance
• Maintain customer satisfaction and relationships
• Responsible for driver hiring, training, scheduling, and payroll
• Conduct quarterly safety meetings
• Key point of contact for customer and drivers
• Oversee scheduled maintenance/repairs on equipment
• Promote Employee/Driver Retention

Requirements:

• Proven leadership skills through a positive and professional mentality
• Management/supervisory experience required
• Knowledgeable in DOT/FMSCA regulations
• Proven computer and organizational skills, with effective communication ability
• Ability to travel to remote locations as needed
• Team player with 24/7 accessibility.
• Ability to manage a partial remote driving workforce
