Transportation Operations Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee daily transportation operations, including vehicle scheduling, route planning, and delivery coordination.

Manage drivers and operations personnel to ensure efficient deployment of resources.

Monitor delivery schedules, service standards, and operational performance.

Oversee fleet maintenance, vehicle utilization, and transportation costs.

Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Handle operational issues, customer feedback, and service disruptions.

Coordinate with internal departments and external service providers to ensure smooth operations.

Ensure compliance with applicable transportation, workplace safety, and company requirements.

Prepare operational reports and provide updates to management.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.

Relevant experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations.

Experience in supervising staff and managing daily operations.

Good knowledge of transportation planning, fleet management, and route optimization.

Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant operational systems.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of Singapore transportation regulations is an advantage.
