The title is Commodity Specialist job role/code, but the title is Transportation Planner. I am looking for candidate with experience in transportation operations for North America and/or international, with experience in SAP and TMS.

Designs, implements and administers commodity acquisition strategy. Includes procurement support, commodity business plans, market trends assessment, pricing and product availability. Develops negotiation strategies to create a \win-win\ relationship between the company and suppliers. Assists in identifying new, high potential suppliers. Interacts daily with peers and customers (typically internal) to exchange or present factual information. Build stable working relationships internally. Works on issues of limited scope. Follows established practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Receives predetermined assignments subject to moderate level of control and review. Normally receive detailed instructions on all work. Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
