What they need
- Safely transport residents to and from physician appointments, therapy visits, community outings, and other scheduled activities.
- Confirm and coordinate residents' appointments and transportation schedules.
- Communicate transportation arrangements with families and facility staff as needed.
- Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle while ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Inspect the vehicle before and after trips to ensure it is clean, fueled, and in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate transportation logs and complete required documentation.
- Assist with clerical duties related to resident appointments, transfers, and discharges as needed.
- Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
