Job Title: Transportation Specialist

Department: Transportation & Logistics

Job Purpose:

Manage, organize, and monitor transportation operations and vehicles, including routes, drivers, vehicle registration, periodic inspections, maintenance, and related electronic platforms such as Afaqy and Rased, ensuring vehicle readiness, safe operations, and compliance with applicable regulations and instructions.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and organize transportation routes and trip schedules according to operational requirements.

Monitor drivers’ compliance with approved routes, schedules, and trip timings.

Monitor vehicle and trip movements and ensure compliance with designated routes.

Review transportation routes and recommend alternative routes in case of congestion, road diversions, or closures.

Monitor vehicle registration (driving licenses) and ensure timely renewal before expiration.

Maintain updated records of vehicle registration and expiration dates and issue advance renewal reminders.

Monitor periodic vehicle inspections and ensure they are completed within the required deadlines.

Follow up on inspection results, address observations, and coordinate re-inspections when required.

Monitor preventive and periodic vehicle maintenance according to approved schedules.

Receive and follow up on vehicle breakdown reports and coordinate with workshops and maintenance service providers.

Schedule maintenance and repair activities and ensure vehicles are ready before returning them to service.

Monitor maintenance costs, spare parts, invoices, and maintain complete maintenance records.

Maintain individual vehicle records, including registration, inspection, maintenance, breakdowns, and odometer readings.

Monitor vehicle readiness and ensure the condition of tires, brakes, oils, batteries, lights, and other essential components.

Monitor drivers’ compliance with traffic regulations, safety requirements, and internal instructions.

Follow up on traffic violations, accidents, and vehicle or driver-related observations and take the necessary corrective actions.

Afaqy and Rased Platform Responsibilities

Monitor transportation operations and relevant data through the Afaqy platform in accordance with assigned access rights.

Monitor vehicle movements, trips, and routes through the Rased platform.

Review alerts and observations received through the platforms and take the necessary corrective actions.

Monitor and document cases of non-compliance with approved routes, schedules, or instructions.

Ensure that vehicle, driver, and trip information is accurate and regularly updated in the electronic systems.

Prepare and submit periodic reports related to transportation, vehicles, and trips.

Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve operational or technical issues related to the platforms.

Utilize electronic data and reports to improve transportation efficiency and reduce breakdowns and delays.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in , Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience in transportation, fleet management, or logistics operations.

Knowledge of vehicle registration, periodic inspections, and vehicle maintenance procedures.

Ability to work with transportation-related electronic systems and platforms.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Strong organizational, coordination, follow-up, and reporting skills.

Ability to coordinate effectively with drivers, workshops, and transportation service providers.

Good knowledge of safety requirements and traffic regulations.

Pay: ﷼2,500.00 - ﷼3,500.00 per month
