Transportation Supervisor – Driving Academy

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Transportation Supervisor to plan and supervise daily transportation for students attending practical driving lessons at our academy. The role includes organizing pick-up and drop-off schedules, assigning available vehicles according to the number of students, and ensuring safe, punctual, and efficient transportation without unnecessary trips.

Key Responsibilities

Student Transportation

• Prepare and update daily student pick-up and drop-off schedules based on their locations and practical lesson times.
• Coordinate transportation to and from the academy.
• Maintain accurate records of students using the transport service, including their locations, contact numbers, and practical lesson schedules.
• Inform students of transport schedules and updates via WhatsApp, phone, or text message.
• Help newly registered students arrange transportation from their first day.

Driver and Vehicle Supervision

• Assign daily duties to drivers and monitor their punctuality and adherence to assigned routes.
• Ensure drivers maintain safe, clean, and respectful conditions inside the vehicles.
• Arrange regular vehicle inspections and coordinate maintenance and repairs.

Route Planning and Vehicle Allocation

• Plan efficient routes to reduce travel time and fuel costs.
• Use Google Maps or GPS to monitor traffic and suggest alternative routes.
• Group students from nearby areas to avoid unnecessary trips.
• Plan and allocate available vehicles efficiently, assigning the right number and type of vehicles based on student demand and avoiding unnecessary vehicle trips.

Emergency Support

• Respond promptly to delays, breakdowns, and student complaints.
• Arrange alternative transportation when needed.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in transportation coordination or supervision. Experience at a driving school or training center in Qatar is preferred.
• Valid Qatar driving license.
• Good knowledge of Qatar roads, transport regulations, and relevant Traffic Department procedures.
• Good working knowledge of Excel, WhatsApp and Google Maps.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Hindi is required. Knowledge of any additional language is an advantage.
• Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to deal calmly and professionally with students, parents, drivers, and unexpected situations.
• Flexibility to work varying hours when required.

Pay: QAR2,800.00 - QAR3,300.00 per month
