Travel Agent

We are in search of individuals who are passionate about travel and have an eye for detail to help their clients plan vacations.

Duties:

• Assist clients in planning and booking travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, car rentals, and activities.
• Provide recommendations and advice on travel destinations, attractions, and local customs
• Research and gather information on travel options, such as flight schedules, hotel availability, and visa requirements
• Collaborate with airlines, hotels, and other travel partners to secure the best deals and negotiate rates
• Process payments and handle booking confirmations for clients along with follow up communication on specifics about their trip
• Handle any changes or cancellations to travel plans, ensuring smooth transitions for clients
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in travel regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a travel agent or in a related customer service role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
• Strong knowledge of travel destinations, airlines, hotels, and other travel services
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling bookings and payments
• Proficient in using computer reservation systems and online booking platforms
• Ability to work independently
• Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed

The ideal candidate should be highly organized, and possess a self-starter attitude. The ability to assist clients as needed and complete orientation/coaching are necessary. Candidates must also have access to a computer, phone, and high-speed internet.
