Cath Lab Technician – Travel Contract

Location: Newton, NJ 07860
Department: Cardiac Catheterization Lab
Duration: Approximately 3 months
Schedule: 4 days/week, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours: 38 hours/week
Pay Rate: $73–$81/hour W2

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• IABP experience required
• BLS and ACLS required
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist
• RCIS certification preferred
• RNs with STEMI/PCI scrubbing experience will also be considered

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and other procedures
• Provide procedural assistance to physicians before, during, and after procedures
• Assist with cardiac catheterizations, PCI/STEMI, peripheral vascular, pacemaker, and interventional radiology procedures
• Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data
• Assess and manage access sites and promptly report concerns to the physician
• Follow Cath Lab on-call protocols

On-Call Requirement

• 1–2 weekend STEMI on-call shifts during the contract

Pay: $75.00 - $81.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 per week

Experience:

• Cardiac Cath Lab: 2 years (Required)
• IABP: 1 year (Required)
