Unit Information

Location: Aurora, CO

Unit: Cath Lab

• Number of Beds: 8 Holding Bays and 4 Cath / EP suites

• Number of Staff: 16

• Patient Ratios: 3 staff to 1 patient in the procedural area

• Type of Equipment: Philips Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab, CardioLab for EP

• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Cath Lab Technologists to join our high-performing team. This position involves working with engaged physicians and participating in a strong structural heart program. The ideal candidate will contribute to high-quality patient care while utilizing advanced technologies and equipment.

Work Schedule

This position is structured around a rotating schedule, featuring four 10-hour shifts per week with weekend shifts included in the call schedule.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum of 6 months’ current experience as a Cath Lab Technologist

• BLS certification

• ARRT (R) certification

• RCIS or RCES certification (must be willing to apply for registration as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado with DORA)

Preferred:

• ARRT (CI) or (CV) certification

• Experience with scrubbing and monitoring

• Prior experience with Meditech EMR

Common Procedures

• Left Heart Catheterization (LHC)

• Right Heart Catheterization (RHC)

• Electrophysiology (EP) Ablations

• Pacemaker and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) placements

• Cardioversion procedures

• Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE)

• Tilt Table Tests

• Structural heart monitoring
