Pay rate: $60 - $70/hr

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Surgical Technician to join our dynamic surgical team. In this vital role, you will assist surgeons and healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient care during a variety of surgical procedures. Your expertise in sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and patient care will ensure safe, efficient, and effective surgeries across diverse specialties. Duties

• Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing and arranging surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment to ensure a sterile environment for procedures.
• Assist surgeons during surgeries by passing instruments, sutures, and supplies swiftly and accurately, maintaining optimal workflow.
• Monitor vital signs and patient status throughout procedures, providing critical support in emergency situations.
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to prevent healthcare-associated infections.
• Handle medical equipment operation and troubleshooting, including endoscopy devices, anesthesia machines, and other specialized tools.
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, and wound closure to facilitate successful surgical outcomes.
• Document surgical procedures accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or other EMR platforms, ensuring comprehensive medical records.

Requirements

• CST License
• BLS

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
