Travel Consultant

Role & Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries and convert leads into confirmed travel bookings.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable destinations, itineraries, hotels, flights, and activities.
• Prepare and present customized travel packages based on customer preferences and budget.
• Follow up with leads regularly through calls, WhatsApp, and email to maximize conversions.
• Negotiate with customers and suppliers to achieve the best possible pricing and margins.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and ensure a smooth booking experience.
• Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.
• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of confirmed bookings.
• Stay updated on destinations, travel trends, hotel rates, and seasonal offers.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, quotations, and bookings in the CRM.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 15 years of experience in travel sales, tourism, or holiday package sales.
• Strong communication and convincing skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Good knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations.
• Experience in selling customized holiday packages will be preferred.
• Target-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a sales-driven environment.
• Strong negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Ability to handle multiple customers and enquiries simultaneously.
• Good knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace and CRM tools.
• Fluency in English and Hindi; additional languages are a plus.
• Candidates from travel companies, OTAs, DMCs, or hospitality backgrounds will be preferred.
