Description

American Traveler is hiring a Multi-Modality Radiology Technologist (CT/MRI/X-Ray) with 2+ years of radiology experience and ARRT certification in both CT and MRI.

Details

• Performs MRI, CT, and X-Ray/fluoroscopic exams and procedures for all patient populations, including NICU, CCU, and ED
• Day shift schedule with 6 on/8 off rotation, 12-hour shifts
• No on-call requirement
• No expectation to work additional holidays, though holidays falling on regular rotation are expected to be worked

Requirements

• Active Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
• ARRT advanced certification in both CT and MRI required
• ARRT(RT) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of radiology experience required
• Minimum 2 years of CT and/or MRI experience required
• Graduate of CAHEA-accredited Radiology program or equivalent with documented competencies in Radiology, CT, and MRI
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods

Additional Information

• Operates independently with limited to no supervision while maintaining high attention to detail
• Assists medical staff in other departments during exams and procedures as requested
• Completes documentation for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams
• Expected to support and train peers
• Works in a busy, fast-paced environment with exposure to bloodborne pathogens, radiation, and infectious diseases
• Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances
• Candidates must live at least 90 miles from the facility to be considered
