Inpatient Speech Language Pathologist (SLP IP) Waco, TX. This position involves providing speech language pathology services, including evaluation, treatment, and education programs for patients to restore speech, language, and swallowing abilities in an inpatient hospital setting. The role emphasizes patient care, administrative duties, effective communication, supervision, and professional development.

Job Details

• Position Description: The Speech Language Pathologist plans and administers speech language pathology services, including evaluation, treatment, and education programs for patients to restore speech, language, and swallowing abilities.

• Certifications/Education/Experience: BLS (AHA) certification required; TX Speech-Language Pathologist license required; at least 1 year of experience in inpatient settings preferred.

• Location Requirements: Work location is in Waco, TX.

• Schedule: 5 days per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

• Additional Information: Must have completed Clinical Fellowship Year and possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and computer skills. Demonstrates competency in assigned areas, with strong teamwork and leadership skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Clinical supervision of students and volunteers, following American Speech Language Hearing Association guidelines.
