Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Night Shift Observation Unit position requiring MD or compact RN license and dysrhythmia management experience.

Details

• Short stay observation unit with adult patient populations
• Cardiac telemetry and short-stay observation patients with target length of stay under 30 hours
• Med Surg Tele or IMC level of care
• Night shift 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Float within skill set
• No on-call availability required

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years current MS/Tele, ED, or IMC experience
• Dysrhythmia management experience
• NIHSS certification required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 1-2 prior travel assignments preferred
• Comparable facility size experience required

Additional Information

• One winter holiday coverage required (Christmas or New Year's)
• Local candidates must reside outside a 60-mile radius to be eligible for this assignment
