Pay Range: 2148.16 - 2255.57

Schedule: 07:00 - 19:30 (Rotating)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: BLS & ACLS are both required. Must be able to read strips and be comfortable with patients post heart caths, CHF, COPD, arrhythmias, and other cardiac conditions. Must be able to titrate Heparin and occasionally Lasix or Bumex. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with unit-specific orientation provided.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for post cardiac patients including those with CHF, COPD, arrhythmias, and post heart caths.
• Read and interpret EKG strips accurately.
• Titrate Heparin and other set rate drips as required.
• Collaborate with monitor techs and nurse aides to ensure efficient unit operations.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient assessments.
