Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 2+ years of experience for a night shift assignment requiring ARRT(R) certification.

Details

• X-Ray Tech unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Adult and pediatric acute care and outpatient patient populations
• Procedures include abdomen, chest, extremity, spine, pelvis, and head imaging
• Performs bedside/portable and C-arm procedures
• Uses PACS imaging system
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Night shift, 3x12 hours from 23:00 to 7:30
• Monday through Friday schedule with no call requirement

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Radiology/X-Ray
• ARRT(R) and BLS certification required
• Prior travel experience required
• Proficiency in infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, and radiation safety
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple body systems including abdomen, chest, extremities, spine, and head
• Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival which includes marijuana testing, with a positive result resulting in automatic cancellation
• Does not accept local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
• First-time travelers may be considered
