As a PLC & Controls Technician, you'll work alongside project managers, customer personnel, and installation crew as part of the installation group to ensure systems are safely installed, fully tested, and operating at peak performance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with hands-on field work while seeing projects through from installation to successful startup.

Key Responsibilities

· Complete commissioning reports, startup documentation, and other project-related records accurately and professionally.

· Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and ongoing technical training.

Qualifications

Required

· Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Industrial Automation, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Controls Technology, or a related field.

· Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation systems.

· Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.

· Experience using electrical test equipment, hand tools, and common installation tools.

· Strong communication and customer service skills.

· Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative project team.

· Valid driver's license.

· Ability to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. Passport.

Preferred

· Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar PLC platforms.

· Previous startup, commissioning, field service, or installation experience.

· Familiarity with material handling systems, conveyor systems, or automated equipment.

· Experience with HMIs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), industrial networking, and control systems.

· AutoCAD or electrical drafting experience.

Travel Expectations

This position is designed for individuals who enjoy travel and working in the field.

· Typical travel schedules consist of approximately 3 to 4 weeks on-site followed by about one week at home for a break.

· Project schedules can vary, and there may be occasions when assignments require longer periods in the field to support project completion.
